Adult Education at Immanuel Church, Highlands

Even apart — we are together

Adult education during COVID-19 restrictions

Dear friends,
Caring for our neighbor in this time requires practicing physical distancing and avoiding crowds as much as possible. COVID-19 has not stopped the work and mission of the church, though! At Immanuel, Highlands, our adult education is growing and thriving each day.
The Good Book Club meets every Sunday morning via Zoom at 11am. We are a lively group and welcome you to join us.
Our current text is The Social Justice Bible Challenge, edited by Rev. Marek P. Zabriskie. We are also working on a service project as a group! Our current Service Project is to provide 8-ounce bottles of water for To-Go Bags.  These To-Go Bags contain a meal and are distributed to those who are clients at the Friendship House Empowerment Centers in Middletown, Millcreek, Newark, and Wilmington including Saints Andrew & Matthew Church (SsAM).
For more information regarding the Good Book Club, including the weekly Zoom link, contact the church office at (302) 658.7326.
